As they say, Knowledge is Power, and when it comes to book smarts in this industry I'm reminded of a man named Don Nguyen from Naked and Afraid, Season 6, Episode 13.  Follow me here - with very little practical experience at the time, but loaded with book smarts of the wilderness, I thought that Don was going to get his rear end royally kicked in by Mother Nature...and I was wrong.  This guy KILLED IT and all he really had in his corner were a bunch of books he had read.

The world renowned Ray Mears brings bushcraft to life in The Outdoor Survival Handbook.  Being a wilderness educator hailing from the UK since 1980, Ray Mears is amongst the most highly respected wilderness instructors on the planet.  Only one of many books he has authored, this easy-to-understand skills guide covers all seasons, navigation, medicinal plants, animal tracking, water purification, shelter building techniques and so much more.  There are plenty of diagrams and drawings for the visual learner and no shortage of expert tips.

The newest bushcraft book to hit the scene, 21st Century Bushcraft, by Mike Lummio, is packed full of color photographs covering topics from a very wide range of outdoor skill sets.  Whether it's modern trapping, primitive trapping, primitive fishing, knots, navigation, every day carry (EDC), cutting tools, clothing or even rigging & safety harnesses, this book has got your back when Mother Nature throws her best at you.  Mike's biology background and 20 years of hands-on application has left him with a "Leave it Better" methodology when it comes to enjoying nature and getting the most of what the great outdoors has to offer.

Finally, Survival Expert James McHenry has authored one of the most popular books in our industry.  The Bushcraft Bible has photos and illustrations on everything from how to properly stack your firewood to animal tracks to everyday knots for the avid lover of the wild.  McHenry even offers scales for minimum and maximum methods for things like choices of materials for warmth, and long term food storage for both adults and children.  Loaded with traditional practices, 25+ years of hands-on experience, and even theoretical knowledge, this book has been a staple of bushcraft libraries all over the world for a reason.

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item must have the receipt or proof of purchase .If you make a purchase for the holidays between October 1st and December 25th we will accept returns for those items up until January 31st of the following year provided that the same requirements above are met - the item is unused, has original packaging returned with it, and has a proof of receipt showing the date of purchase. PLEASE NOTE:  The purchaser shall be responsible for paying return shipping costs. Initial shipping fees are nonrefundable.  If your return qualifies for a refund you will receive the refund for that item(s) minus a 10% restocking fee.
